Quick Instructions

Welcome to Hotel Tycoon Simulator. This game is about building a cool hotel and making lots of money. With a few tips to get you started, you will be soon be designing the hotel of your dreams. (blah blah blah). Anyway, on with the info.

The first thing to consider is that you will need to attract guests who will pay money for deluxe accomodations and services. You will need a variety of rooms and services to satisfy their demands. Of course you will need a Reception Desk and a clerk to work there. Next, build 3 or 4 rooms and 1 or 2 inexpensive services. The laundry is a good choice. Keep an eye on the Ratings Bars. They will tell you what is lacking. Below the Rating Bars are more buttons to click for detailed information you will need to help you decide what to build.

You will be losing a little money when the game first starts because you have no income. So, before you click the 'Start Game' button, I would build 2 rooms, 2 service facilities, and the all important Reception Desk. Also, don't forget to hire a couple employees. Be careful though, because you can't tell how much cash you have left until the game starts. If you spend all your cash the game ends. Good Luck!

You can achieve goals during the game. Completing goals 1 to 5 will give you a 1 to 5 Star hotel. (with the Gold Stars displayed at the top of the screen) Click the 'Select a GOAL' drop down menu and select a goal. (The 'GOAL details' button will give you continous progress reports.) When you select a goal, the goal requirements are displayed. But, if you want to achieve the goal, click the 'Build/Hire/Goal' button to activate it. You will see 'Goal x is in progress...' in the 'GOAL details' information area.
